D.R.A. Grant Acknowledgement

Cascade Community Enhancement Corporation members and other volunteers have recently completed a community enhancement project funded by the Dubuque Racing Association. Trees, shrubs and landscape material were planted around the four Cascade community stone signs. This improvement to the esthetic beauty of the Cascade signs and the esthetic beauty of the highway corridors will be the first image that many motorists will see of Cascade. This first image has been a priority for the Cascade Community Enhancement Corporation and the value of this first image has also been recognized through the generosity of the Dubuque Racing Associations Grant Award of two thousand eight hundred dollars for this landscape material. Many thanks go out to the Cascade Community Enhancement Corporation and the Dubuque Racing Association for their efforts to improve the esthetic beauty, as well as the quality of life for everyone in Cascade and eastern Iowa.
